Mesmorise: A Downtown Las Vegas Photobook" draws inspiration from one of my favorite lyrics "Mesmorise, symbolize everything that's unique" by Temples. This project is my journey capturing Downtown Las Vegas (DTLV) over the past three years, particularly focusing on the Arts and Fremont Districts.

ABOUT THE BOOK PROJECT
My goal was to celebrate and document the unique energy and vibrancy of DTLV, celebrating its dynamic beauty and symbolic significance as it exists currently. Each photograph shot on 120 and 35mm film, was developed & scanned by hand in my darkroom I crafted in a converted bathroom. This intimate process of shooting, developing, and scanning film added an essential creative journey to my DTLV project, that culminates in this photo book today!
